Once again, Burnaby’s residents have transformed their homes and neighbourhoods into hauntingly creative displays that captured the community’s imagination. The results are in — and your votes have crowned this year’s winners.

Taking first place is 128 N Carleton Avenue, whose elaborate display has earned them a well-deserved victory after a joint win in 2023 and a strong second-place finish last year. In second place, 3727 Peter Street made an impressive debut in the top three with a chillingly detailed setup that caught everyone’s attention. Rounding out the top three is 3970 Frances Street, a true Burnaby Halloween icon, which has held the top spot every year since the contest’s inception.

The Best Neighbourhood title goes once again to Montecito Drive, where residents came together to create a frightfully fun atmosphere for all to enjoy.

This year’s Sustainable Display Award goes to 4804 Dundas Street, recognized for their creative use of repurposed and recycled materials. From broken broomsticks and old costumes to donated decorations, their display was a remarkable showcase of sustainability and imagination — proving that spooky can also be sustainable.
