This October 1st -November 1st, Exit Burnaby is making your nightmares become reality at their Halloween escape room event, where the games have been transformed into four terrifying new themes that will haunt your dreams!

1. Arachnaphobia: Cult of the Arachnia

Dare to uncover the secrets of an ancient, web-entwined occult order in this ritual-fueled horror escape. As agents of the Magical Enforcement Division, you’re drawn into a nightmare, rumors of a hidden cult obsessed with spiders and forbidden dark magic. After a Ministry official vanishes without a trace, your investigation leads you into shadowed corridors thick with cursed runes and deadly whispers. The cult’s true purpose is horrifying: to fuse the Dark Lord’s restless soul with a monstrous Acromantula, birthing a creature of unstoppable evil. Time is running out, destroy the artifact holding his soul, or watch the wizarding world fall into eternal darkness.

2. Phasmaphobia: Night at Lagosi Manor

Welcome to Lagosi Manor, an ominous estate shrouded in legend. Whispers speak of occult rituals, restless spirits, and its enigmatic, long-absent owner: Count Zarof Lagosi. When a mysterious flyer appears at your door offering a large sum of money to anyone who can survive a full night in the manor, you and your friends accept the challenge with a laugh. But once inside, you quickly learn the traps are lethal, the haunts are real, and a mystery involving foul play entwines you in suspicion. Can you survive until dawn or will you become part of the legend surrounding Lagosi Manor?

3. Technophobia: All Hallows Haunt

Plug in, if you dare. Every Halloween, urban legend speaks of a lost arcade game so terrifyingly real, players vanish upon beating it, their names absorbed into the credits. You and your friends have searched for years, chasing rumors for fun. But this year, you finally find it: a cursed game cabinet buried in a forgotten arcade, lit only by flickering neon. What begins as a nostalgic dare quickly turns into a deadly digital nightmare. Can you beat the game before it beats you? Or will your name be added to the credits…forever?

4. Necrophobia: Tomb of the Lich King

Delve into the cursed sands of Egypt. When a long-buried tomb is unearthed in the Valley of the Kings, something ancient and malevolent awakens. Every team that enters vanishes without a trace. Whispers lure the greedy with promises of gold, but inside lies a gateway to the afterlife-filled with deadly trials and ruled by a vengeful Pharaoh seeking to rise again as an undead Lich King. You and your team must brave the tomb, close the portal, and stop the Pharaoh’s resurrection or risk becoming part of his eternal army.

They will also be hosting a costume contest! Throughout the entire month, all guests are encouraged to arrive in costume, snap a spooky pic in the photo booth area and then tag their social media using the hashtag #ExitHalloweenCostumes for a chance to win the secret grand prize in the ultimate costume contest finale on November 1st.
