Costume aficionados are in for a unique round of excitement this Halloween. The award-winning team of Northern FanCon is launching a brand new seasonal pop culture and cosplay event as part of the Burnaby Halloween Festival.

The event MetroCon will be hosted at Hilton Metrotown and boasts 02 day of multiple events that includes everything from exclusive celebrity Q&As and meet-and-greets to costume workshops, coveted merchandise and highly anticipated Cosplay Contest. Each day will culminate in a winner-take-all cosplay contest which will see one lucky cosplayer walk away with a $1000 cash grand prize.

That’s not all. Fans will be in for a surprise with exclusive After Dark Events. MetroCon by Northern FanCon is supported by Tourism Burnaby and is slated to occur on October 4 & 5, 2025, at Hilton Metrotown. The event guarantees an unforgettable experience for fans of all ages, boasting a diverse lineup of guest celebrities, events, and activities. Among these will be workshops led by leaders in costume design and make-up departments who have worked on shows like The Flash, The 100, The Good Doctor and Firefly Lane to name a few.”
