Shane Steward has been playing music and video games for the bulk of his life, and finally decided to meld the two things he loved most together. In addition to creating original arrangements and covers of video game music, he has released several albums of original music.

Rom hack is an eclectic 4 piece band made up of members of varying different musical backgrounds from heavy metal to jazz to classical. Together they mesh to create an exciting take on retro and modern video game classics as well as some anime material! From Donkey Kong Country to Undertale, there’s something here for every gamer and every music aficionado.

This event promises to be a frightfully fun experience, perfect for both seasoned artists and beginners alike. Hosted by our talented instructor, the event runs for about 2 hours, guiding you step-by-step through the process of creating your very own Halloween masterpiece.

What to Expect: Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome and directed to your painting station. Each participant will receive all the materials needed for the night, including a canvas, paints, and brushes. We encourage you to bring your own apron or wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little paint on. As you settle in, our charismatic instructor will introduce the evening’s painting–a hauntingly beautiful Halloween scene. Whether it’s a moonlit graveyard, a spooky haunted house, or a whimsical pumpkin patch, you’ll learn to bring it to life on your canvas. Our instructor’s infectious enthusiasm and easy-to-follow instructions will ensure that you have a ghoulishly good time, no matter your skill level. Feel free to be creative and customize your painting as you like. While you paint, you can order food and drinks from our menu to enjoy throughout the event, ensuring you stay energized and refreshed as you create your masterpiece.

Return to the Crypt of the Burlesque Dancer where the tassels terrify and titillate with a vengeance, the bumps and grinds go ravenously throughout the night and your shivers and shrieks fuel our fantastic, phantasmal teasers bring to ghoulish (after)life your favourite ghastly and gorgeous gaming icons from the realms of horror and beyond. Are you ready for the spectral sensations and twitching temptations of this graveyard smash?

Wild Rumpus Cabaret (@wild_rumpus_cabaret) is a local circus and variety performance cabaret that highlights exquisite, jaw dropping and awe-inspiring local talent from Vancouver, BC. Wild Rumpus Cabaret is fearlessly led by Maria Sample (aka Maria Madrugada), the Carnivale of Femme Fatale whose main pastime is defying gravity.
